Recent weeks have brought warmer temps and some beautiful bluebird days. Our deep base is fully set up and offering “hero” conditions. The hills got a few inches of fresh snow in the past few days and while the new snow is soft now, it won’t be for long. We are expecting mild temperatures and bluebird skies for the next few days. Now is a great time to get out on the trail and go anywhere, on or off trail. Our regional snowpack is hovering the 100% mark. Some areas are in surplus of 100%, others are in the high 90% of normal.
The wildlife are now out and about. The local pack of wolves seems to be liking our snowmobile trails for means of transportation. Moose & elk have been seen around our trail system as well. Unlike the rest of the Mountain West, we still have a surplus of snow! Even a quick drive up to Jackson is proof as they don’t have near the snow we have! No crowds and lots of snow!!! Tons of fun!
