The snow is here and there is fun to be had! The snowmobiling terrain of greater Yellowstone ecosytem has been getting snow for a few weeks now…a little lighter than usual but it is offially ON!  We have been riding fresh snow in 3 different mountain ranges, exploring the backcountry and keeping our trail to the cabin packed.  We have a busy week with both on trail and off trail trips.  Coincidentally, the snow is going to keep flying with forecasts of 50% – 100% chance of snow for the holiday week.   The last 4 days have supplied almost unlimited powder turns…

Pictures have been tough to come by, as the bluebird days have yet to reveal themselves, but we’ve had small windows of clear skies. This series of storms will let up before long…leaving millions of acres of fresh snow to be taken advantage of. This is an exciting point of the season as we begin to enjoy the first of many powder days and they will only get deeper and even more fun to ride.  We are looking forward to expand our backcountry operation this year.  Tomorrow we have 4 riders who want to go off trail on the 800cc sleds.  As the snow keeps hammering down this evening…one can’t help but imagine what tomorrow will bring!

The trail riding is in great shape as well.  We have all but one trail packed…plenty for a ride around the country surrounding our cabin.  The surrounding mountains have begun being groomed and offer a different venue daily for the rider.  Right now…between the backcountry and on trail riding…we have over a million acres to explore at the moment.  It keeps a guy busy!

If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to ride off trail or just wanna cruise on trail, give us a call and lets talk!!
