Wyoming Fly Fishing guides – Pinedale – Fontenelle Dam – Jackson Hole – Green River
We work closely with the Wyoming Fishing Company to satisfy the varying needs of its anglers. With over a decade of fly fishing outfitter experience, the Wyoming Fishing Company provides exceptional services around the entire state of Wyoming and American West. Between the two of us outfitters there are several hundred river miles on the Green/New Fork Rivers, two ranches, and high country mountains streams at the disposal of their guests.
Our float trips are typically done out of the comfort of a Clackacraft drift boat. Spey/switch casting methods are available on our trips as well, which are extremely effective ways to cover larger runs. And most of the flies we use are tied right here in Sublette County by your guide. After spending an incredible day on the water with Green River & Bridger-Teton Outfitters, you’re sure to walk away with great pictures, great stories, and a great desire to come back for more.
Wyoming Fly Fishing
We are fortunate to sit in the middle of three mountain ranges where the wildlife is abundant and our rivers are gin clear. Sublette County is a place saturated with sage brush in the river valleys and dark timber in the mountains. The river valley is a lush, oasis-like setting lined with many types of trees and shrubs. Moose, deer, elk, antelope, great blue herons, both bald and golden eagles are just some of the wildlife to be witnessed daily. The local Sublette County residents are friendly and ranching is still a way of life to many. Sublette County makes up 1% of the population within Wyoming and has only 1 working stoplight, a real step back in time! Many active glaciers and Gannet Peak (highest point in Wyoming) are located in our local Wind River Range. Our fly fishing is some of the best the American West has to offer. Come spend a day on the water with us and see what our fishing is all about!
General fly fishing lessons are available in an exclusive setting. We offer full day guided float and walk/wade trips on our local waters. Short day trips are available under certain circumstances.
Most of our customers buy their licenses from a local shop after they arrive, but for licensing in advance, refer to the Wyoming Game and Fish website.
